Concessions of Hope provides meals at Hope Plaza in Columbia for individuals and families experiencing homelessness. A team from Mt. Horeb participates in this ministry by preparing and distributing meals to an average of 150 individuals on the last Saturday of every month. This ministry provides not just food for the body but also encouragement and nourishment for the soul by creating an environment where all are welcomed, cared for and offered hope through a hot meal in Jesus’ Name.

There are many opportunities to serve at Concessions of Hope, as the need is great:
Serving meals: Every Monday – Thursday breakfast; Thursday, October 9 breakfast (Hush No More Event - for unhoused women who have experienced domestic violence); Saturday, October 25 lunch.

Once you register, you will receive a confirmation email with more information, including your Go Week Missions Captain information, Angie Enlow. She will be in touch with more details as you get closer to your serving date. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to Angie, as she is the liaison between Mt. Horeb and Concessions of Hope.

If you are registering as a group, please have each person/family register separately. From there, have your group leader email Angie and let her know who is in your group. This way, she can cultivate your serving opportunity with COH. If a listed time or date does not work for you or your group, email Angie, and she will help arrange a date and time that will work for you.

If you would like to purchase a Go Week T-shirt, you may do so directly below for $10, with a maximum of $40 per family. We are taking GO Week t-shirt orders until Friday, September 26.

The GO Week t-shirt has the GO Week logo and verse on the front. The back is a list of our Mt. Horeb GO Week partners. When considering your shirt size, the t-shirts are Comfort Wash by Hanes, the same as the 2025 VBS t-shirts.

T-shirts are available for pick-up October 5-18, and you will be notified via email when they come in. Additional t-shirts are available to purchase after October 5, but there will be a limited number, and your size is not guaranteed.
